I worked with a partner to concept and create this campaign for Special Olympics of Colorado’s biggest fundraiser of the year and the social event of the summer season. This was the first year for this important event and I was responsible for all elements from naming to the one-of-a kind invitation to emails, stationary and ideas for the event itself.

We received permission from Hazel Miller, the event’s musical headliner, to use two of her songs on a CD, which we created to look like it was recorded on old vinyl. Taking my cues from the roaring optimism of the 1920’s Gatsby era, I had a lot of fun with the language. The campaign materials captured attention, got people talking and won a Denver 50 award. The event was a smashing success for its inaugural year and we were happy to contribute to such a great cause.
